“This BB Cream Is The Balm”
“Beauty Balm” is what the BB stands for in BB creams. These products are designed to multi-task. With this, you can check moisturizing, color correction and SPF application off your “Skincare To Do List.” I’ve tried a few, but my favorite so far is Garnier Skin Renew Miracle Skin Perfector (available on Amazon.)
I had read so many positive reviews of this product that I had to give it a try myself. I just couldn’t believe that an inexpensive BB cream could really be that good.
It claims to even tone, hydrate, renew, protect, and brighten skin. It has an SPF of 15 (UVA and UVB.) It’s got hyaluronic acid in it, which I always look for to hold moisture. It’s got Vitamin C for color correction and brightening.
Would I be able to add “Makes your skin look fantastic,” to it’s impressive list of credentials? YEP!
Mineral pigments give even coverage that’s not thick and cakey looking. It is natural looking, light coverage, just perfect for a daytime look. Quick, easy and quality results with staying power! If I’m going out for the evening, I might mix a little in with my foundation for added color and moisture. Plus it smells fantastic!
There is an oil free version out now, but I prefer the dewier look of the original. I’m old, and my skin needs that oil to look healthy and stay moisturized. But let me be clear, the original formula is not greasy or oily. However, if you have issues with oily skin, you might want to give the oil free version a try. For me, it was too drying and gave me that overly matte look. The “I am wearing a mask” look.
This is one product on my list of favorites that people always thank me for recommending. Try it and see if it makes the grade for you.
I give this BB Cream an A+.
