With so many drugstore foundations on the shelves, you might find yourself wandering the makeup aisle, feeling lost. Not to worry, I’ve been trying a bunch of them! In this post, I’ll list my favorites.

Wet n Wild keeps surprising me. They are making some amazing products! I tried their matte foundation a long time ago, and it is included in this post. It was one of the first foundations to make my list.

Could it be as good? In short, YES. Am I surprised? YES. I mean, lightening doesn’t strike twice.
Apparently, it does.
This foundation is dewy, but not shiny. It looks like your natural, bare skin, only better! More even and with less imperfections. You can achieve different levels of coverage with this – from light to full coverage.
It is lasting coverage that requires minimal if any touch-ups. It doesn’t look cakey, and it doesn’t settle in wrinkles. It stays put!

With CoverGirl going cruelty-free and achieving Leaping Bunny certification, I thought it was time to explore the brand again. When I read the description of this foundation, I knew I had to try it.
It’s makeup + skincare in one product.
Let’s start with how this foundation LOOKS on skin, before we cover the skincare benefits of this foundation. The finish is beautiful!!! Not too matte, not too dewy. It gives a “satin” finish, somewhere in between. This foundation smooths pores and lines and doesn’t dry out throughout the day.

The coverage is buildable, so you can use a little for a more natural look or add more for increased coverage. This creamy foundation somehow feels light on my skin.
Covergirl + Olay Foundation contains hyaluronic acid, something your body makes, but it decreases with age. Hyaluraonic acid helps maintain your skin’s hydration, keeping skin looking firm and plumping up wrinkles.
Vitamin C, a know skin brightener, is also included in this formula. So every time you apply, you are getting all those skincare benefits! Plus a beautiful, even-toned, smooth, glowing complexion. This is truly a drugstore treasure.

Serum Absolute Advanced Age-Reversing Makeup gives skin a lovely, radiant finsh. It is not ultra-matte, and it’s not really dewy, but more of a satin finish. I love it!
It fills in pores, camouflaging them. It doesn’t gather up in creases and wrinkles. It’s meadium to full coverage that has staying power.
The added skincare ingredients in this foundation are why they added “age-reversing” to the name, I’m guessing. The pro-retinol, antioxidants, and SPF set this foundation apart from other, in that it’s almost like skincare! Essentially you get antiaging benefits from a foundation, and every little bit helps, right?
PhotoReady Candid Natural Finish Anti-Pollution Foundation
What a find this Revlon PhotoReady Candid Natural Finish Anti-Pollution Foundation has turned out to be! It has a creamy texture that applies smoothly and easily for this beautiful satin finish. It’s a perfect everyday foundation with medium, natural coverage.
I apply with fingertips and blend with a foundation brush.
It’s not exactly matte, and it’s not dewy either. I’m calling it a satin finish.
