There is so much to love about the cruelty free vegan makeup line from The Organic Skin Co. I’m not even sure where to begin.
Let’s just start at the beginning, when YOU design your own palette of 4 or 8 colors! First you choose the color of your palette, the actual case you’ll put you makeup into.
Then, you get to select the makeup pods that are just what YOU want!
Each color is called a pod, and you just pop each pod into the magnetized palette like so…
You know how there are always colors in a palette that you hate and never use? That won’t be happening.
You choose what you love from a variety of pods to fill your palette:
- Hide and Seek Pods – Cream Concealer
- In the Spotlight Pods – Luminizer
- Cheeky Lip Pods – Blush and Lip Color
- The Eyes Have It Pods – Cream Eye Shadow
- Meet The Press Pods – Pressed Powder Eye Shadow
- Set To Impress Pods – Pressed Powder
I selected all cream formulas for my palette. (Note: I am not one of those beauty bloggers who can wait to touch products before i photograph them. I had try these.)
Lip/Cheek First Blush, Lip/Cheek Desert Sun, Lip/Cheek Velvet, Concealer Soft Honey
Lip/Cheek Lush, Lip/Cheek Madras, Eye Shadow Highlights, Highlighter Rose Gold
You all know how much I love cream makeup, especially cream blush. Cream formulas are usually more flattering than most powders on over-40 skin. They give a hydrated, glowing look. I not only love the Cheeky Lip Pods for their gorgeous colors, these colors have actual staying power on both cheeks and lips!
In all honesty, they stay on longer than many expensive cream blushes AND lipsticks I’ve tried.
Mix the colors to get exactly the shade you want. Change your look to match your mood!
I am wearing The Organic Skin Co concealer, luminizer, liquid eye liner in brown, and Black Lash Mascara in each picture. On the left, I used the color Desert Sun for lips and cheeks to create a very natural, everyday look. On the right, I used Madras – my favorite color from the palette. I also added more liner and mascara.
This is what I mean about having the ability to create different looks with one palette. Mixing colors just adds to your options!
I’ll be 49 this summer, the wrinkles are coming faster and faster every day and my skin is just generally drier. I think these cream formulas for blush and highlighter wear beautifully on my more mature-ish skin.
On top of being high-quality makeup, The Organic Skin Co. is cruelty free vegan makeup!
So you actually feel good about wearing it. As their name suggests, they use organic ingredients in their products. On their site, you can see the percentage of organic ingredients in each product. That’s honesty I can respect!
If you’re not yet convinced that this company is amazing, there’s this to consider:
Every time you buy one of their products, they plant a tree.
Bottom line, i encourage everyone to click HERE to check out The Organic Skin Co for themselves. Their site tells their story better than I ever could, and you can see ALL the gorgeous makeup they have to offer.
Look good, feel good, and invest in the future of the planet – now that’s truly beautiful!
These products were gifted to me as PR Samples for consideration for review. As always these are my honest thoughts. If a product doesn’t work well for me, I just don’t review it.

Thank you for sharing this! I’m always looking for cruelty free makeup and other beauty products. I’ve been looking at their website and am eager to try some of the things they have there. I especially like the feature you pointed out about creating your own set of colors and products. Like you said, so often these sets come with colors or items I never use, so it seems like a waste. This is the perfect solution to that.
I know I don’t speak up often, but know that I keep an eye out on the posts you make, especially on IG, and I drop by your blog for extra tips! I especially wish we lived closer so I could learn firsthand from you how to do fun things with makeup.
Thanks again!
