I’m over-40 and I’ve got a great set of cans…
Luminess Air AirSupremacy Airbrush Makeup Kit is foundation and blush in SPRAY CANS! And it’s amazing.
Blush in a can?! I thought I was dreaming!
But I assure you, these cans are real.
My AirSupremacy Kit (Medium Skintone) includes:
- two cans of foundation (shades 3 & 4)
- one can of blush (soft rose)
- one can of primer
- travel size makeup sealant
- brush and blender sponge for application
Here’s why I love Luminess Air:
• It’s NOT dry or cakey – the enemies of over-40 skin. The primer is moisturizing and the makeup itself gives me a dewy look. If you prefer a matte look, finish with a dusting of translucent powder.
• The coverage is buildable. I prefer light coverage for a natural look, so I don’t need much product to achieve that. If I want more coverage, say for an evening out, I can build it.
• I LOVE blush. I’ve tried tons. This blush is incredibly natural looking. Airbrush blush has quickly become a favorite of mine.
• AirSupremacy Airbrush Makeup lasts, up to 18 hrs. according to Luminess Air. It never dried down to look cakey by day’s end and it never just disappeared into my face.
Application —Spray On, Spraya!
Application is easy. Important: Always start by shaking your cans.
You can spray the makeup directly onto your face -OR- spray the makeup onto the brush or sponge and apply it to your face using the brush or sponge. I prefer brush/sponge application.
I’ve been asked, “Doesn’t that defeat the purpose of having airbrush makeup?” Nope. This mineral and water-based formula is just different than traditional foundations, and applies beautifully whether sprayed onto your face or a brush. The brush was just faster and easier for me.
Whether applied by spraying onto your face or by spraying onto a brush, this makeup gives great coverage with a gorgeous finish.
I start by spraying primer directly onto my face. I then spray foundation onto a fluffy airbrush brush (Sephora No. 55 seen below) and apply foundation to my problem areas before brushing foundation over entire face. I then brush on the blush.
I’ve tried wearing the makeup with and without the sealant mist and found that either way, the makeup lasted with minimal if any touch up needed.
Get your hands on these cans. It’s not easy finding foundations that don’t add years to over-40 skin. Luminess Air foundation is lightweight, and the blush makes you glow! It’s airbrush made easy.
So easy, it’s truly can-tastic.
Note (January 10, 2018) – I’ve been checking the Luminess Air site, and these are all sold out right now, except for one shade. It says they will be getting more, and I hope that’s true!!!
