“Correction Perfection” :
No7 Airbrush Away Radiance Boosting Primer Review

To be honest, I haven’t had much luck with color correcting products.  They look one color in the tube, then seem to disappear when applied to my skin.  Since I’ve found most to be useless, I don’t buy them.  I actually bought this product by accident, thinking it was a clear primer.
What a very happy accident.

WHAT ARE COLOR CORRECTING PRODUCTS

These are products that claim to correct problematic issues of skin color.  For example, you might apply green concealer over a pimple BEFORE applying a skintone concealer.  The idea is that green, because it is opposite red on the color wheel, will cancel out the redness of the pimple.   Here are a few other examples:

  • Yellow corrects blue (think dark circles)
  • Purple corrects dull, yellow undertones
  • Pink brightens dullness

No7 Airbrush Away Radiance Boosting Primer is white when it comes out of the tube, then turns a subtle, sheer pink when applied to the skin (SEE video at the end of this post for this primer in action).  And this pink color does WONDERS for me!  The color does not wear off, it stays with me all day, brightening my look and making me look healthy.  I absolutely LOVE this product.

I have olive toned skin, and without a tan, it can look sallow.  Sallow equals sickly and dull looking.  Applied under my foundation, this primer adds a veil of healthy pink to my skin.  Here’s what else I love about it:

  • It’s subtle, but you can tell it’s there, backlighting my foundation.
  • It’s long-lasting and makes my foundation last longer.
  • It smoothes skin, providing a better canvas for makeup.
  • It gives a healthy, vibrant glow to my skin.  One I have not found in any other primer.

I am so thrilled with this product I went to buy a second tube, but it was sold out at my Target already!  Clearly other women are catching on to this drugstore find, too.  In a sea of products claiming to correct color, this one keeps its promise.
It truly is correction perfection.
