The Best Pixi Makeup & Skincare – “My Pixi Picks”

Pixi has become one of my favorite brands, right up there with my addiction to some higher-end brands.

So I’ve written up a quick post on my favorites from Pixi…My Pixi Picks!  (Product names are linked to Amazon.)

My Pixi-tionary

 1.  Pixi Gel Blush

Gel blush doesn’t accent cheek wrinkles.  The colors are so fresh!

 2.  Pixi Lip Blush

This is pictured in my original image for Pinterest, but it has since been discontinued.

 3.  Pixi LipLift Max

I like thick lip gloss.  They stay put and last longer on me.  LipLift Max adds shine and gives a slight plumping effect.

 4.  Plxi Glow Mist

I rely on this in colder months so I don’t look all flaky and dried up.  I can mist my face and refresh my look easily without adding more makeup.  This is KEY when you’re over 40, as adding more makeup throughout the day accentuates wrinkles.  Glow Mist is a great way to get a healthy, more youthful look.

 5.  Pixi Fairy Dust Favorites

These loose powders are perfect as eye shadow, but I like using them as highlighter, too!  They give more of a sheen and less of a truly glittery look.  Add light to the inner corners of your eyes or mix them for the perfect shadow.  The colors are natural and just gorgeous.

I use the bronze shades to add a little color and shine to my cheekbones.  NOTE:  I am careful not to add shine to wrinkly areas.  First I smile, see where the wrinkles are, and avoid those areas with anything shiny.  I bought these as a set, but you can buy them in individual colors.

6.  Pixi Glow Tonic

This has a HUGE cult following, and for good reason.  With 5% Glycolic Acid, this toner is an effective, yet gentle, exfoliator.  Sometimes, I don’t want to stress my skin with a scrub.  Glow Tonic helps cell turnover along, something that slows down as we age.  Sloughing off old layers exposes fresh, more youthful looking skin.  No alcohol in this, so you don’t feel stripped dry.

I hope you find a product in this list of Pixi Picks that helps make you feel gorgeous.
Sometimes all you need is a little faith, trust, and Pixi dust.
