The Saranghae 5 Step Skin Care Routine

When the Saranghae box arrived, I tore it open and tossed all the product information aside.  Who wants to read when there are shiny bottles to admire?  They had me with the gorgeous packaging…

After just a few days of Saranghae Skin Care, my skin felt softer, looked firmer, and fine lines were lessened.  My skin looked healthier.

One word came to my mind:  Healing.  The products in this Korean skin care line felt soothing and nourishing to my skin, and the results were undeniable.

When I read the product information, I was not surprised to see the words “heal, healthy, repair, regenerate” and “nourish” repeated throughout. Before reading the pamphlet, these were the words I was thinking would perfectly describe the 5 Step Routine!

Step 1:  Nourishing & Moisturizing Oil + Foam Cleanser

This cleanser is absolute magic.  The combination of “oil” and “foam” confused me, but that’s exactly how it feels!  Gentle like an oil, yet there are bubbles, so you feel clean – not greasy.

Formulated with Truffle Extract and Gold, this cleanser feels luxurious.  It’s an experience.

If you look closely, you can see the gold flecks in the cleanser.

This is one of the best cleansers I’ve ever used.

It removes makeup, and my skin feels clean AND hydrated, never dried out.

Step 2:  Deep Radiance Essence + Serum AND
Step 3:  Firm & Lift Cellular Regeneration Cream

After cleansing, I apply the Saranghae Deep Radiance Essence + Serum.  This is a concentrated shot of antioxidants, amino acids and vitamins to aid in skin’s healing and regeneration.

The serum contains 10% Phellinus Linteus (Sang Hwang) Mushroom extract – a unique ingredient used by Saranghae.

The serum is packed with nourishing ingredients, but it is the lightest serum I’ve ever tried.  I don’t like layering on heavy products, this feels a lot like water when it’s applied, and absorbs immediately into my skin.

I follow up the serum with the Saranghae Firm & Lift Cellular Regeneration Cream – which is one of the most perfect moisturizers I have ever tried.  Just look at it!

At this point, you have to be wondering if I’m exaggerating.  I’m not.  This is an amazing skincare line.

My skin feels smoother, hydrated, plumped, and healthier.
It glows!

Used both morning and evening, the moisturizer is comforting to skin.  It’s a blend antioxidants, amino acids, and regenerative peptides.  This is hydrating without being greasy.

If you search my blog, you won’t find reviews of many eye creams.  I don’t like most of them, so I don’t use them.  Saranghae’s Focus Renewal Eye Cream makes my cut.

Formulated with the unique ingredient Phellinus Linteus (Sang Hwang) Mushroom Extract, this helps firm and moisturize the delicate eye area.

I notice my eye area feeling “stronger,”  and looking less thin and fragile looking.  Fine lines seem less visible.

Under makeup this wears beautifully.  Not greasy, but enough moisture for makeup to apply flawlessly.

For when your skin needs some extra TLC, there is the Saranghae Elemental Essence Mask.  I did a mask once a week.  This is a sheet mask, so it’s like a soaking wet paper towel that you put on your face.

Taking time to sit still, relax, and give your face some love is NEVER a bad idea.

The mask is packed with CoQ10 (fights sagging and UV damage) and Hyaluronic Acid (a natural polymer that helps skin retain moisture.)

I like doing this mask before bed because you don’t have to rinse your skin.  You can remove the mask, let your skin dry, and let the ingredients keep nourishing your skin all night.  You wake up to glowing skin in the morning!
