“Hi-Ya-Lur-Whaaat?”
Whenever I am asked about moisturizers, I always advise looking for hyaluronic acid in the ingredient list.
In response, I often hear, “Hi-ya-lur-what?”
Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance that’s already in your body. The hyaluronic acid molecule can hold 1000 times its own weight in water, making it AMAZING for improving your skin’s ability to retain moisture.
Hydrated skin is plumped-up, which means wrinkles are less visible!
The concentrated ingredients in StriVectin’s Hyaluronic Dual Action Serum help your skin retain moisture. When this serum is applied before your moisturizer, you add a boost of hydration to your skin. I like to give this serum a minute to fully absorb before applying moisturizer.
For my dry winter skin, this will be the extra boost of moisture I need.
There are two chambers in the container, each containing a different formula. With each pump, the two formulas fuse together.
- One side contains StriVectin’s® patented NIA-114™ formula.
- The other contains SIX types of hyaluronic acid. That’s right, SIX!
Don’t be scared off by the word “acid.” Remember, your body makes hyaluronic acid. You’re just boosting it!
I’m no scientist. But in a way, I’ve conducted my own experiments on my own face.
I try a lot of skincare products, and a pattern has emerged in my data:
Hyaluronic acid is an ingredient that helps my skin look its best.
And you can find a concentrated boost of it in Strivectin® Hyaluronic Dual Action Serum.
This product was given to me for consideration for review. As always, these are my honest thoughts. If a product doesn’t work for me, I simply don’t review it.
