COVERGIRL + OLAY Simply Ageless 3-in-1 Foundation $10
I recently discovered this amazing foundation. Its creamy coverage gives your skin a satin finish, not too dewy and not too matte. It’s not cakey and it doesn’t settle in wrinkles.
Its secret to flattering the over-40 complexion is that this foundation contains skincare ingredients. It contains hyaluronic acid, something your body makes less of as you age, to help your skin retain moisture. Moisturized skin is plump, so it shows less wrinkles.
It also includes Vitamin C, which aids in evening skin tone and may even help a little with repairing sun damage.

Most women over 40 begin to produce less oil, and many powders make that situation worse by absorbing the little oil we do make. I’m not just talking about setting powders or compacts. Any powder — like blush or bronzer — can make your skin look dried out, which will accentuate wrinkles.
