“Bloomin’ Amazing” : My Wildbloom Skincare Review

When I first noticed that age was indeed changing my face, I started hunting for products to slow that process.  I really didn’t care what was in the products, as long as they produced results.
I had a “Give Me ALL The Chemicals” approach to skincare, really.

Natural products sounded weak to me. I wanted the strong stuff.

With the addition of more and more steps to my skincare routine (like serums, spot treatments and wrinkle reducers) the chemicals started to add up.

Looking at all those bottles and jars became a powerful visual.  What exactly was I putting on my face?  Finding some natural alternatives became important.

I needed to start working at least some natural products into my skincare routine.  Enter Wildbloom Sincare…

Wildbloom Skincare Review

If you are looking for natural skincare, Wildbloom Skincare is impressive.  YOU NEED TO CHECK OUT THEIR WEBSITE.  With so much confusion about “natural” vs “organic,” Wildbloom offers a wealth of information.  They’ve got answers to frequently asked questions and a fantastic blog to follow.

But what about the products?  I’ve tried two, and they are BLOOMIN’ AMAZING… Starting with the packaging!  It was like receiving a party in a box.  The rose gold on the bottles is a beautiful touch.

RESURFACING NIGHT CREAM

This alpha hydroxy cream (left in the picture) is designed for any skin type “in need of a boost.”  Alpha hydroxy acids are great exfoliators, revealing smoother skin by getting rid of dead skin cells.  Don’t be scared by the word “acid,” this is a very gentle cream.  Of course spot test first, but I’d recommend that for any new skincare product you try.  I would describe this as gentle exfoliation. I much prefer chemical exfoliants like alpha hydroxy acids over most scrubs.

This night cream is not thick or greasy and it does not have a strong scent.  In fact, I can barely smell it. I apply this resurfacing cream at night and wake up to moisturized skin with a fresh, smooth look.

*Key Elements:
Cranberry + Lime Peel Extracts for tissue repair + skin brightening
Alpha Hydroxy Acids for time-released exfoliation
Organic Seaweed Extract to firm + tone skin

 ESSENTIAL GLOW FACE OIL

Wildbloom Skincare Review

When my skin gets really dry, which happens A LOT during winter, I can reach for this oil.  Its extremely light, pleasant scent is a pick-me-up for sure.  It absorbs into my skin so completely that I have worn this under makeup.  Any time I feel like my skin could use a surge of moisture, I apply this oil before applying moisturizer.  Vitamin C is always a great brightener for me.  This works well with the Resurfacing Night Cream.  You can add a couple drops to the cream for extra moisture.

*Key Elements:
Wild Neroli for anti-bacterial + anti-aging support
Pomegranate Seed Oil for cell renewal + wrinkle-prevention
Marula Oil for balanced hydration + a natural source of Vitamin C

From the packaging, to the quality products, to the fantastic website/blog, Wildbloom Skincare has it all. They also have products for hands, body, SPF protection (for kids & babies, too), and SPF tinted mineral makeup!  This line is definitely worth your time to check out.

To everyone at Wildbloom Skincare, you’re doing it right.
You’re all blooming geniuses!

These products were given to me by Wildbloom Skincare for consideration for review.  As always, these are my honest thoughts.  If a product doesn’t work well for me, I simply don’t review it.
